Castrol India Limited announced the launch of three new products in its autocare range on June 30, 2025. The company introduced a Throttle Body Cleaner, a Fuel Injector and Carburettor Cleaner, and a Brake Cleaner to expand its vehicle maintenance product portfolio.
The products are designed for use by mechanics and service technicians to clean vehicle components. According to the company, the new solutions aim to improve vehicle performance, fuel efficiency, and braking responsiveness while reducing service downtime.
Rohit Talwar, Vice President-Marketing at Castrol India Limited, stated that the products address the needs of vehicles operating in current driving and road conditions. The company positions these launches as professional-grade solutions for automotive service providers and vehicle owners.
The Brake Cleaner is formulated as a low-VOC, non-chlorinated solution that removes dirt and carbon deposits from brake components. The Throttle Body Cleaner offers fast-drying cleaning to remove carbon residue and restore throttle response. The Fuel Injector and Carburettor Cleaner uses a solvent-based formulation to dissolve carbon deposits and improve combustion efficiency.
All three products are compatible with both two-wheelers and four-wheelers and meet safety and sustainability standards. The cleaners are engineered for use with modern engine and brake systems.
The expansion represents part of Castrol's strategy to strengthen its presence in the vehicle maintenance sector. The company currently offers lubricants and maintenance solutions through a comprehensive product portfolio serving service centers and workshop professionals.
