CASE Construction Equipment's Managing Director for India and SAARC, Shalabh Chaturvedi, has been elected Vice President of the Indian Construction Equipment Manufacturers Association (ICEMA) Governing Council for the 2025-27 term.

The election took place through a voting process among ICEMA's nearly 165 member companies. The organization conducts these elections every two years, with 12 seats allocated to primary members and three seats for associate members. CASE Construction Equipment, a brand under CNH, retained its position from the previous term.

ICEMA serves as the apex body for India's construction equipment industry, working with government officials and stakeholders to promote sustainable growth, enhance global competitiveness, and drive innovation in the sector. The organization plays a role in shaping industry policy and standards.

Chaturvedi expressed his commitment to the role, stating that the platform enables collaboration with industry colleagues, policymakers, and stakeholders to advance growth, sustainability, and innovation within India's construction equipment sector. He indicated plans to contribute toward developing an industry that delivers value to customers and the nation.

CASE Construction Equipment operates as part of CNH, a capital goods company listed on the New York Stock Exchange. The company manufactures and distributes construction equipment including excavators, loaders, compaction rollers, and other machinery through its dealer network.

The appointment comes as India's construction equipment industry continues to navigate evolving market conditions and regulatory frameworks. ICEMA's governing structure allows industry leaders to participate in discussions that affect sector development and policy implementation.
