BYD Seal EV garners 200 bookings in India

Since opening bookings in the last week of February, BYD India's electric luxury sedan, the BYD Seal, has received 200 bookings in India.

Offered in three variants – Dynamic, Premium, and Performance – priced at Rs 41 lakh Rs 45.5 lakh, and Rs 53 lakh respectively (ex-showroom), the sedan underscores BYD's commitment to providing competitive electric vehicles.

Sanjay Gopalakrishnan, Senior Vice President of Electric Passenger Vehicle Business, BYD India speaking on the announcement said “We are overwhelmed by the incredible response from customers in India. This demonstrates the growing appetite for luxurious and high-performance electric vehicles in India. Customers booking the BYD Seal by March 31, 2024, will receive additional benefits, including a home charger, portable charging box, VTOL mobile power supply unit, roadside assistance, and complimentary inspection service, along with extensive warranty coverage for various components.
