BYD India, OHM E Logistics to deliver 300 All-New e6 Electric Passenger Vehicles
BYD India will deliver 300 BYD All-New e6 vehicles to OHM E Logistics over the next six months,
BYD India has partnered with OHM E Logistics an electric cab aggregator and cargo leasing App platform, tracking and fleet management business to deliver 300 All-New e6 electric passenger vehicles across India in the next six months.
The delivery of the first lot of e6 was made in the presence of Sanjay Gopalakrishnan, Senior Vice President, Electric Passenger Vehicle Business - BYD India, Shrirang Joshi, National Sales Head, Electric Passenger Vehicle Business - BYD India, Nirmal Reddy, Founder and Chairman - OHM E Logistics, K Sarala – Director, OHM E Logistics, Sunil Jain Investor Director OHM E Logistics along with key personnel from both the companies.
Over the next six months, BYD India will deliver 300 BYD All-New e6 vehicles to OHM E Logistics. The first phase of the project will see the delivery of 50 state-of-the-art BYD All-New e6 vehicles, which got flagged off in Hyderabad.
Nirmal Reddy, Founder and Chairman of OHM E Logistics, said, “With the BYD All-New e6, we are excited to continue to accelerate our electric vehicle fleet operation with our shared value of sustainable energy solutions that reduce carbon emissions. This complements our aim to expand the grid of e-mobility across the nation starting from Hyderabad and eventually onto a global stage.”
The BYD All-New e6 boasts a 71.7 kWh Blade Battery, delivering a WLTC (Worldwide Light Vehicles Test Cycle) city range of 520kms and a combined range of 415kms on a single charge.
The Blade Battery sets new industry standards in safety and reliability, passing rigorous tests without any incidents. BYD All-New e6 supports DC fast charging offering a 30% to 80% charge in just 35 minutes. The vehicle also features a 580 L boot space, a comfortable suspension system, Bosch's intelligent brake control, and energy regeneration capabilities, all while prioritising safety with airbags, seat belt reminders, and integrated electric powertrain components for a well-rounded driving experience.
