EV maker and fleet operator Bounce has partnered with the Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC) to integrate its EV-led fleet operations with ONDC’s Open Delivery Protocol (ODP), aiming to expand access to last-mile delivery services for merchants and brands.
The partnership brings Bounce’s electric mobility, fleet operations and gig-worker platform into ONDC’s logistics ecosystem. Through its ONDC-enabled logistics offering, Bounce Task, the company will support last-mile deliveries for businesses on the network while providing delivery opportunities for riders.
ONDC’s Open Delivery Protocol enables merchants to access multiple logistics providers through a single integration. The network currently has more than 50 hyperlocal logistics service providers and 30 small fleet operators across more than 150 cities. More than 60,000 merchants and 150,000 delivery partners are leveraging the logistics ecosystem, according to ONDC.
ONDC said its logistics infrastructure is designed to reduce integration requirements for merchants and logistics providers while improving fleet utilisation. Features such as First-In-First-Out (FIFO) order matching and intelligent rider allocation are intended to improve delivery efficiency, including enabling deliveries in under 15 minutes.
India’s logistics market remains highly fragmented, with smaller fleet operators often facing challenges in accessing technology and consistent demand. ONDC’s open network model allows logistics providers of different sizes to connect with merchants without requiring individual integrations with each business.
“Neither merchants nor logistics providers should have to go through cumbersome one-on-one integrations,” said Rohit Lohia, Chief Operating Officer, ONDC. “ONDC's Open Delivery Protocol allows businesses to integrate once and access a growing network of logistics providers through common digital infrastructure.”
Bounce currently supports more than 12,000 delivery executives across Bengaluru, Hyderabad, the National Capital Region and Mumbai. The company said it expects this base to grow significantly over the year.
Bounce combines electric vehicle manufacturing with fleet operations and gig-worker enablement. Its Bhiwadi facility has an annual production capacity of 200,000 units. The company said it reached group-level profitability in March 2026.
Vivekananda Hallekere, CEO and co-founder, Bounce, said the company’s experience in fleet operations, combined with in-house EV manufacturing, would allow it to optimise vehicles and operations for delivery riders.
Through its integration with ONDC, Bounce aims to use its EV fleet and operational capabilities to expand last-mile fulfilment while providing delivery opportunities to gig workers across the network.
