Bosch Software and Digital Solutions (Bosch SDS) and Dassault Systèmes have announced a collaboration in India to support digital transformation across product engineering, manufacturing operations and industrial value chains. The partnership will focus on Industrial AI, Digital Thread, energy management, IT/OT convergence and Digital Product Passport applications.
The companies said their first joint deployment is underway with a leading electric vehicle manufacturer in India. The deployment combines Dassault Systèmes’ DELMIA Apriso Manufacturing Execution System (MES) platform with Bosch SDS’ manufacturing transformation capabilities to support connected, real-time operations, with improvements in production efficiency, quality and digital traceability targeted.
The collaboration brings together Dassault Systèmes’ capabilities in Virtual Twin Experiences, Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), digital manufacturing and Manufacturing Operations Management with Bosch SDS’ expertise in contextualised data products, energy optimisation, IT/OT integration and machine-level intelligence.
Bosch SDS And Dassault Systèmes Target AI-Led Manufacturing
The companies will jointly work on AI-enabled manufacturing transformation and Agentic AI orchestration through the Bosch Cognitive Factory platform. Other areas include Digital Thread and traceability across engineering, manufacturing and lifecycle operations, contextualised data products, enterprise intelligence, energy management and sustainability transformation.
The partnership will also cover smart factory and connected operations, IT/OT convergence, machine-level intelligence, and Digital Product Passport (DPP) capabilities aimed at regulatory compliance readiness.
The companies said the collaboration is intended to help manufacturers move from fragmented digitalisation initiatives towards connected, software-defined and intelligent operations. Bosch SDS will work with Dassault Systèmes as a consulting and system integration partner across engineering, manufacturing and enterprise operations.
Collaboration Covers Automotive, Batteries And Semiconductors
The initial focus includes automotive, electronics, batteries, semiconductors, industrial machinery and consumer durables. The companies also plan to extend their joint market engagement into heavy engineering and process industries.
As part of the partnership, Bosch SDS and Dassault Systèmes will jointly develop solutions covering end-to-end AI, Digital Thread and AI-enabled Digital Product Passports across product and manufacturing value chains.
