Bosch Appoints Former 3M India MD Ramesh Ramadurai As Independent Director

The appointment follows the completion of former Mahindra Group executive Pawan Goenka’s tenure as independent director.

Bosch Appoints Former 3M India MD Ramesh Ramadurai As Independent Director

Bosch Ltd has appointed former 3M India Managing Director Ramesh Ramadurai as an Additional Director and Non-Executive Independent Director on its board for a five-year term, according to an exchange filing.

The appointment, which is subject to shareholder approval at the company’s upcoming annual general meeting, will be effective from May 21, 2026, to May 20, 2031.

The move follows the completion of the tenure of Dr Pawan Goenka as an Independent Director of Bosch. Goenka, who joined the board on May 21, 2021, ceased to be an Independent Director from the close of business hours on May 20, 2026.

“The Board and the Management of the Company extend their sincere appreciation for the valuable contributions made by Dr Pawan Kumar Goenka during his tenure,” Bosch said in the filing.

Ramadurai brings more than three decades of experience across industrial, automotive and manufacturing businesses. According to the filing, he has also held leadership positions at 3M in the US, China and the Philippines, including roles such as Business Director for 3M Industrial Business in Asia and Greater China, and Managing Director of 3M Philippines. Before joining 3M, Ramadurai worked at TVS Motor Ltd, Sundaram Clayton Ltd and the Oil & Natural Gas Commission (ONGC).

Ramadurai currently serves as an Independent Director at Anthem Biosciences Ltd and Centum Electronics Ltd. He was also previously associated with Ashirvad Pipes Pvt Ltd as a Non-Executive Director.

Bosch described him as a “transformational growth leader” with expertise in commercial excellence, go-to-market innovation and multicultural leadership.

According to the filing, Ramadurai holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur and a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta.
