Bookings for Toyota Innova Hycross ZX (O) re-open after temporary halt
Hybrid variants of the MPV receive a 1% price hike.
The Toyota Innova Hycross ZX and ZX (O) variants are now available for booking again, as per the company's official website. Bookings for the two variants were temporarily halted in April last year due to supply-related issues. The prices of the Innova Hycross hybrid have also been hiked, effective April 1, 2024.
According to dealer sources, production of the Innova Hycross ZX (O) variant was not stopped, with dispatches going on in limited numbers. Customers received their booked vehicle after a delay. When Toyota began delivering the Hycross in January last year, the top-spec hybrid variants were prioritised for deliveries, and were also in high demand. The company later went on to reveal that bookings were halted for the top-end ZX and ZX (O) variants.
Toyota Innova Hycross: updated price
Toyota had announced a price hike of 1% across certain variants of specific models. This means that the Innova Hycross hybrid variants are now priced from Rs 25.97 lakh to Rs 30.98 lakh for the range-topping ZX (O) variant. The price hike for the Innova Hycross ranges from Rs 15,000-30,000, depending on the variant. In contrast, the non-hybrid variants of the MPV continue to be priced between Rs 19.77-19.82 lakh.
Toyota Innova Hycross: powertrain
The Innova Hycross can be had with either a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine making 173hp and 209Nm, or a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder strong-hybrid that generates 184hp and is mated to an e-Drive transmission.
Toyota Innova Hycross: new variant launching soon
The Toyota Innova Hycross will also soon receive a new non-hybrid variant in the form of GX (O), which will be available with both seven- and eight-seat configurations. Over the GX variant, it will get LED fog lamps, rear window demister, auto climate control, rear automatic blower control, dual-tone seats, soft-touch dashboard, a rear retractable sunshade (7-seater only), 360-degree camera, front parking sensors and a bigger 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay (7-seater only).
