Bolt.Earth Secures ARAI Certification for Universal Fast Charger

Bolt.Earth announced on Tuesday that it has received certification from the Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI) for its Blaze DC 3kW Dual Gun Charger, validating the unit for two- and three-wheeler electric vehicles across India.

The certification marks the Blaze DC 3kW Dual Gun as the world's first universal fast charger for two- and three-wheelers to meet ARAI safety and performance standards. Capable of delivering up to 40 km of driving range in 15 minutes, the charger features Type 6 and Type 7 connector compatibility for cross-brand operation with vehicles from Ather, Ola, Ultraviolette, and Simple Energy.

Blaze DC 3kW Charger: Connectivity and Safety Features

The Blaze DC unit includes Wi-Fi and 4G connectivity, OCPP 1.6J protocol support, over-the-air updates, and remote monitoring capabilities alongside safety protocols like short-circuit prevention and emergency shutdown features.
