Bolt.Earth Partners with Atul Greentech to Launch Home Charging Program for EV Buyers
Partnership aims to make home chargers standard with every electric three-wheeler purchase across India.
Bolt.Earth has entered into a strategic partnership with Atul Greentech Private Limited to launch a nationwide home charging program. The initiative will provide professionally installed home chargers as a standard feature with every EV purchase, accompanied by customer education programs focused on safe charging practices.
The collaboration addresses two significant challenges in India's EV adoption: reliable charging access and consumer confidence. According to Divya Chandra, Managing Director of Atul Greentech Private Limited, while India's public charging infrastructure has expanded five-fold since FY22, access and convenience remain major obstacles for EV owners.
"Through this partnership with Bolt.Earth, we are reimagining the EV experience, bringing charging home, where it belongs," Chandra said in a statement. "Our goal is to make owning and charging an EV as effortless, intuitive, and dependable as any other part of daily life."
The program will roll out in three phases over the next three years. The initial phase focuses on strategic planning and process alignment between the two companies. Phase two involves nationwide deployment of home charging points alongside customer education initiatives, supported by joint branding and awareness campaigns. The final phase will concentrate on performance optimization and expansion into smart charging solutions, renewable energy integration, and advanced EV maintenance services.
Bolt.Earth currently operates over 100,000 EV chargers across more than 1,800 cities and towns in India. S Raghav Bharadwaj, CEO and Founder of Bolt.Earth, emphasized the company's commitment to making EV charging more accessible. "We're working to make EV charging as routine and reliable as plugging in your phone," he stated.
Under the partnership agreement, Bolt.Earth will handle the installation, uptime, and maintenance of chargers, while providing technical solutions, real-time data, and billing support. Atul Greentech will integrate the program into its dealership network, drive awareness, and ensure warranty coverage is linked to the use of approved home chargers.
The partnership also creates opportunities for future expansion into renewable-powered charging, predictive maintenance, and new geographic markets.
Atul Greentech Private Limited, an initiative by Atul Auto Limited, was incorporated in January 2020 and specializes in electric three-wheeler manufacturing. The company is backed by investor Vijay Kedia and builds on a 30-year legacy in the three-wheeler segment.
