boAt Launches HIVE Dashcam Series from Rs. 2,499

boAt has expanded into the dashcam category with the launch of its HIVE series, comprising three models designed for the Indian automotive market. The company, recognized as India's leading audio and wearables brand, introduces the Hive Dashcam E1, M1, and F1.

Gaurav Nayyar, CEO of boAt, stated that the dashcam launch represents an extension of the company's technology portfolio. The products incorporate Sony STARVIS sensors for low-light recording capability.

Product Lineup

The Hive Dashcam F1 features 4K front recording and 1080p rear recording capabilities, along with an Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) for lane departure and collision alerts. The unit includes GPS route logging, voice control, and Wi-Fi connectivity, priced at Rs. 9,990.

The Hive Dashcam M1 offers 2K QHD resolution with a 140-degree wide-angle lens and supports storage up to 512GB. The model includes GPS tracking and G-sensor functionality for collision detection, available at Rs. 4,499.

The Hive Dashcam E1 provides 1296p HD recording with loop recording and automatic emergency triggers. The entry-level model, priced at Rs. 2,499, includes Wi-Fi connectivity for smartphone access.

All models in the HIVE series utilize Sony STARVIS sensors for enhanced visibility in low-light conditions. The dashcams incorporate motion detection technology and parking surveillance features. Storage is provided through microSD cards, with optional cloud integration available.

The products are designed to support insurance claim documentation and accident dispute resolution through recorded footage. Installation options accommodate various vehicle types, including compact cars and commercial vehicles.

The HIVE Dashcam series is available through boat-lifestyle.com, Amazon, Flipkart, and select retail locations. The company offers launch pricing for all three models.
