BMW Group India has become the official luxury mobility partner for the VIP Terminal at Kempegowda International Airport (KIA), Bengaluru. The company will provide the all-electric BMW i7 sedan and the MINI Countryman for VIP movements, offering premium transport for dignitaries, business leaders, and other VIPs.

Vikram Pawah, President and CEO of BMW Group India, said, “At BMW Group India, we are committed to shaping the future of sustainable mobility with innovation, luxury, and responsibility. The first-ever BMW i7 and the all-electric MINI Countryman, now the official choice for VIP movements at Kempegowda International Airport’s VIP Terminal, redefine premium travel with their unmatched elegance and zero-emission performance.”

The BMW i7 is the company’s flagship all-electric luxury sedan. It features an advanced in-car entertainment system and is designed to offer a comfortable and emission-free driving experience. The vehicle combines electric innovation with driving dynamics to cater to the needs of luxury travelers.

The all-electric MINI Countryman, part of MINI’s sustainability push, offers a compact design with a spacious interior. It is powered by an electric drivetrain, delivering instant torque and a quiet ride. The vehicle is also equipped with connectivity and driver-assistance features, catering to modern, eco-conscious consumers, according to the company.

BMW Group India has been operating in the country since 2007. The company’s activities include a manufacturing plant in Chennai, a parts warehouse in Pune, and a training center in Gurgaon (NCR). The company has over 80 customer touchpoints across the country.

MINI, which entered the Indian market in 2012, has positioned itself as a premium small car brand. BMW Motorrad, the two-wheeler division, began operations in India in 2017.

BMW India Financial Services, a Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC) operating since 2010, offers retail finance, commercial finance, and insurance solutions.
