BluSmart, an EV ride-hailing service and EV charging network, today signed an Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Automotive Skill Development Council (ASDC), to train 250 women in Delhi NCR. 

The primary objective of this collaboration is to provide employment opportunities, noted a press release. 

Under this MoU, ASDC will implement a 3-month comprehensive driver skills training programme to equip women candidates with the necessary skills and knowledge required for safe and efficient driving. 

BluSmart will conduct sessions on EVs and as the placement partner. will provide employment opportunities to the trained women drivers with relevant Qualification Standards certification by ASDC post undergoing standardised screening
and driving tests. 

Anirudh Arun, Co-founder and COO, BluSmart said, "This MoU strengthens our commitment to gender diversity and inclusivity in the transportation sector."
