Chennai-based BlueBinaries announced that it has signed an agreement to acquire the automotive testing business of Germany-based software and systems supplier MicroNova AG. Following the transaction, the carved-out division will operate as an independent entity within the group under the name NovaBinaries GmbH. With an initial projected annual revenue of $50 million, BlueBinaries plans to scale the combined operation to $100 million in annual revenue over the coming years.
MicroNova AG has operated in the automotive technology domain for three decades, specializing in hardware-in-the-loop (HiL) test systems and other tools used across European OEM testing environments. NovaBinaries GmbH will integrate these technologies and software test factories with BlueBinaries' engineering delivery operations.
Kishore LM, Founder and COO of BlueBinaries, said, "The acquisition of Automotive Testing business from MicroNova is a strategic leap that enhances our ability to offer right technology solutions across automotive software testing."
