Birla Tyres Partners with DP World Asia Cup 2025

Birla Tyres has been named the official tyre partner of the DP World Asia Cup 2025 cricket tournament. The partnership aims to increase the company's visibility across international and domestic markets, according to company statements. The DP World Asia Cup is a cricket tournament that draws participants from multiple Asian countries.

"Becoming the Official Tyre Partner of the DP World Asia Cup 2025 is a proud moment for all of us at Birla Tyres," said Anurag Choudhary, CMD & CEO of Himadri Speciality Chemical Ltd. Choudhary noted that cricket "unites millions of people."

Dr. Chandra Narain Maheswari, Whole Time Director & CEO of Dalmia Bharat Refractories Limited, said the partnership would help the company connect with cricket fans globally while promoting the brand's focus on reliability and performance.

Birla Tyres manufactures tyres for commercial and off-road vehicle segments in India. The company operates under new ownership and has stated plans to expand its operations both domestically and internationally.

The DP World Asia Cup 2025 is scheduled to take place in the United Arab Emirates from September 9 to 28, featuring eight teams battling for the coveted trophy in T20I format. Participating teams include full members India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan, as well as qualifiers UAE, Oman, and Hong Kong. The tournament comprises 19 matches, with 11 in Dubai and 8 in Abu Dhabi, hosted at Dubai International Stadium and Zayed Cricket Stadium. The UAE was selected as a neutral venue due to its prior experience hosting international cricket events. Most matches will start at 6:30pm local time, making it accessible for television audiences across Asia.
