BillionE Mobility has implemented Netradyne's Driver•i platform across its electric vehicle fleet, marking a significant step in integrating artificial intelligence-driven safety measures into India's expanding electric mobility sector.

The deployment will provide BillionE's fleet with real-time driver monitoring and analytics capabilities that extend beyond the basic in-cab alert systems currently in use. The Driver•i platform analyzes driving behavior throughout entire journeys, identifying risks such as distracted driving and tailgating while also recognizing positive driving patterns.

Sanjeev Kulkarni, CEO of BillionE Mobility, emphasized the company's commitment to combining safety with operational efficiency. He noted that while the company's Ashok Leyland electric vehicles came equipped with Netradyne's basic alert systems, BillionE recognized the need for more comprehensive data-driven safety programs to support driver development and fleet optimization.

The platform provides fleet managers with detailed performance insights, on-demand video access, and real-time analytics. These capabilities are particularly relevant for electric vehicle operations, where performance monitoring plays a crucial role in fleet management.

BillionE also plans to extend AI-enabled monitoring to its airport ground support operations, focusing on enhancing safety protocols for passenger and staff movement in ground operations.

Durgadutt Nedungadi, Senior Vice President for EMEA and APAC Business at Netradyne, described the partnership as bringing together two companies focused on innovation in their respective fields. He highlighted how the technology aligns with the operational requirements of electric fleet management.

Netradyne, founded in 2015 and headquartered in San Diego, provides AI-powered fleet management solutions to commercial operators across North America, Europe, and Asia. The company reports having analyzed over 25 billion miles of driving data through its vision-based risk assessment systems.

BillionE Mobility operates in India's electric mobility-as-a-service sector, providing electric buses and trucks along with supporting infrastructure including charging systems and fleet management platforms.
