BikeWo Green Tech Limited has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with electric tractor company Moonrider to explore the deployment of electric tractors across institutional, commercial and specialised applications. The partnership will assess potential enterprise use cases and deployment models based on customer requirements.
The collaboration combines Moonrider's electric tractor technology and product capabilities with BikeWo's fleet deployment, leasing, operations and institutional customer development capabilities. The companies will jointly identify applications where electric tractors could provide operational and economic benefits.
Potential applications include agriculture, industrial facilities, warehouses, logistics hubs, airports, ports and other controlled or high-utilisation environments. BikeWo will also explore supporting Moonrider's existing and prospective customers through fleet deployment, leasing, operations and other commercial structures.
Electric Tractor Applications Across Institutional Operations
Under the MoU, BikeWo and Moonrider will jointly identify potential customers, assess pilot deployments and explore commercial opportunities. The companies said specific vehicle deployments, procurement or leasing arrangements will require separate definitive agreements.
Hiten Pal Saklani, CEO, BikeWo Green Tech, said the partnership will focus on identifying institutional and specialised applications where operating patterns and economics could support electric tractor adoption. He added that the companies will assess commercially viable deployment models by combining Moonrider's product capabilities with BikeWo's institutional relationships and operational infrastructure.
The partnership is part of BikeWo's plans to expand beyond conventional last-mile electric mobility into specialised EV applications and integrated electric mobility infrastructure. The company said it is working with OEMs and technology companies across vehicle categories to develop deployment models for enterprise and institutional customers.
Moonrider, founded in 2023, develops heavy-duty electric tractors for farmers, industries and fleet operators. BikeWo operates across vehicle deployment, leasing, fleet operations and supporting mobility infrastructure for enterprise and institutional customers.
