Bharat Seats Announces Resignation of Senior Management Member Pratap Ranjan Sahoo

Bharat Seats Limited has formally announced a change in its senior management, with Pratap Ranjan Sahoo resigning from his role as Chief General Manager (CGM) and Head of the Purchase and Supply Chain Management Department. His resignation, effective June 16, 2025, was disclosed in accordance with Regulation 30 of SEBI’s Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements.

The company submitted the requisite intimation to both BSE Limited and the National Stock Exchange of India, confirming the cessation of Sahoo’s tenure as part of the senior management. As per the disclosure in Annexure A of the regulatory filing, the reason for the resignation was included in a separate annexure (Annexure B), although no further details were provided publicly.

The notification was signed by Ritu Bakshi, Company Secretary and Compliance Officer, affirming that the necessary disclosures were made as per SEBI's circular dated November 11, 2024. There is no announcement yet regarding a successor or interim replacement for the vacated position.

Bharat Seats Limited is an Indian public limited company established in March 1986. It operates as a joint venture between Suzuki Motor Corporation (Japan), Maruti Suzuki India Limited, and the Relan Group. The company is listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol 523229. It primarily manufactures seating systems for four-wheelers and two-wheelers, along with components such as carpets, NVH (noise, vibration, and harshness) parts, body sealing items, molded roofs, trims, and welded frames.

The company has multiple manufacturing facilities located in Gurugram, Manesar, Bhorakalan, and Surendranagar. These facilities are equipped with testing and validation laboratories accredited by NABL, as well as tool rooms, prototyping units, and quality control systems.
