Bharat Mobility Global Expo to be held between Feb 1-3 in Delhi
The three-day event covers the entire mobility ecosystem, including automobiles, automotive components, tire manufacturing, batteries, battery manufacturing, supply chain, energy storage solutions and alternative fuels.
With a focus on electric mobility, multiple industry bodies along with the Government of India will host a mega exhibition, named Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2024, at Bharat Mandapam in Delhi between February 1 and 3.
Unlike the biannual India Auto Expo, the three-day event will feature the entire mobility ecosystem, including an exhibition of electric vehicles, powertrain technologies, electrical and electronics subsystems, eco-friendly tires, battery technology, connected technologies, and alternative fuel technologies.
The event is being organised under the guidance of the Ministry of Commerce. “Covering a sprawling 10 lakh square feet, this extensive mobility exposition will feature stakeholders across the automobile and mobility sector, showcasing their strengths and innovations. The expo will highlight areas like next-gen eco-friendly products, construction equipment, and various innovative mobility solutions,” the commerce ministry said.
Industries bodies including the Society of Automobile Manufacturers Association, Automotive Component Manufacturers Association, Automotive Tyre Manufacturers’ Association, Society of Manufacturers of Electric Vehicles, and NASSCOM, are the partner organisations for the event.
“In contrast to regular auto events, the Bharat Mobility Show will concentrate on the future. It will cover more than just cars, incorporating drones to position India in the future mobility space,” India Energy Storage Alliance said while inviting electric vehicle infrastructure players, including charging and swapping companies, to showcase their products at the expo.
The event will have knowledge sessions and workshops on electrification, circular economy, battery safety and EV infrastructure, apart from business-to-business, government-to-government and business-to-consumer interactions.
The ACMA-Automechanika 2024 show, an exhibition of auto component manufacturers from India and over 12 countries, will be held as a subset of the Bharat Mobility Global Expo at Bharat Mandapam.
