Bharat Forge Limited (BFL) has successfully completed its acquisition of AAM India Manufacturing Private Limited for an equity value of Rs 746.46 crore, marking a significant expansion of the company's automotive manufacturing capabilities.
The transaction, initially announced in October 2024, received final approval from the Competition Commission of India (CCI) in April 2025. The acquisition price includes Rs 189.48 crore in cash from AAM India's books, which Bharat Forge plans to deploy for future growth initiatives.
"We are acquiring an entity which has a formidable name in the automotive products space supplying to all major OEM across traditional and New Mobility technology," the company stated in its announcement. The acquisition is expected to complement Bharat Forge's existing component offerings with comprehensive product solutions for original equipment manufacturers both in India and globally.
The final equity value remains subject to net working capital adjustments as of June 30, 2025, according to the company's filing with stock exchanges.
