Bhago Mobility has announced the launch of an electric mobility platform in collaboration with Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) and Honda Power Pack Energy India (HEID), targeting India's urban mobility workforce with electric two-wheelers and battery-swapping infrastructure.

The platform, unveiled on February 12, 2026, will initially deploy in Delhi and Bengaluru before expanding across India over the next three years. The service is designed for delivery partners, ride-hailing drivers, and last-mile logistics workers, offering a subscription-based model that bundles vehicle access, battery swapping, compliance support, and technology services.

According to the company, the initiative addresses barriers facing urban mobility workers, including high vehicle acquisition costs, charging downtime, and maintenance requirements. The platform promises to increase worker earnings by more than 20 percent through improved uptime and operational efficiency.

HMSI will supply electric two-wheelers for commercial use, while HEID's battery-swapping network will enable rapid battery replacement to minimize operational downtime. The platform offers both ownership and usage models, allowing individuals to own vehicles for personal use or make them available for others to operate.

Mr. Mutsuo Usui, Director of Sales and Marketing at HMSI, stated that the partnership combines Honda's manufacturing expertise with a technology-driven battery-swapping ecosystem. The company will provide the Activa e: integrated with HEID's swapping network, along with comprehensive after-sales support.

Mr. Aditya Goyal, Managing Director of Bhago Mobility, emphasized the collaborative approach. "Urban mobility cannot be solved by a single company or a single product," he said, noting that the partnership builds on a two-decade relationship in the two-wheeler ecosystem.

Bhago's technology platform includes background verification, operations management, roadside assistance, and performance analytics. The system provides workers with real-time guidance on demand patterns, route optimization, and service quality improvements.

The initial rollout targets delivery partners from e-commerce and food delivery platforms, with plans to expand into ride-hailing and logistics services. The company stated that additional cities will be added as the battery-swapping network expands.

Bhago Mobility has also announced initiatives to increase women's participation in the transportation and logistics workforce through targeted outreach, specialized training programs, and support systems. The platform requires only a valid driving license, making it accessible to individuals with minimal formal education.

HMSI, a wholly owned subsidiary of Honda Motor Co. Ltd., Japan, operates four manufacturing facilities in India and has served 70 million customers since beginning operations in May 2001. The company produces scooters and motorcycles across locations in Manesar, Tapukara, Narsapura, and Vithalapur.
