BGauss has launched the Oowah, an electric scooter aimed at young riders and first-time electric two-wheeler buyers. The company describes the model as its first EV Pop scooter range, combining styling-focused design with features for urban commuting.
The Oowah gets a 3.0kWh CAN-enabled removable lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery and has an ARAI-certified range of 145km. The removable battery is designed to allow charging indoors for users without access to dedicated home charging facilities.
The electric scooter is available in Emerald Shadow, Jamun Punch, Zesty Red and Tangy Toma colour options. It also gets features including reverse assist, a distance-to-empty indicator, side-stand sensor, USB charging, full-LED lighting and under-seat storage.
BGauss Oowah Battery And Range
The Oowah uses a 3.0kWh removable LFP battery pack with CAN connectivity. BGauss claims an ARAI-certified range of 145km, while the removable battery is intended to provide greater flexibility for charging.
The scooter's equipment also includes a distance-to-empty display to help riders monitor the remaining range. Reverse assist is provided for low-speed manoeuvring and parking.
BGauss Oowah Features And Target Buyers
The Oowah gets full-LED lighting, a side-stand sensor and USB charging, along with under-seat storage for everyday use. BGauss says the model marks its first dedicated product push towards youth and first-time EV buyers.
Speaking about the launch, BGauss founder Hemant Kabra said, “With Oowah, we are introducing a new category that blends bold design with trusted electric mobility.”
The launch comes as India's electric two-wheeler market continues to expand. According to BGauss, electric two-wheeler sales crossed 1.11 million units during the first seven months of 2026, while monthly market penetration crossed 11% for the first time.
BGauss says the Oowah expands its portfolio beyond its existing commuter and performance-oriented models as it targets different rider behaviours in the growing electric two-wheeler market.
