Belrise Industries, Plasan Sasa Form Partnership for Electric Military Vehicles in India

Belrise Industries and Plasan Sasa announced a strategic agreement on December 22, 2025, to jointly pursue military contracts in India focused on electric mission platforms. The partnership will center on the ATEMM system, an electric platform designed for military operations.

The collaboration brings together Belrise Industries, an Indian automotive systems manufacturer, with Plasan Sasa, an Israeli company specializing in armor and protection systems for military vehicles. The two companies will work to adapt the All-Terrain Electric Mission Module for use by Indian defense forces.

The ATEMM is a self-propelled electric platform intended to enhance payload capacity, energy efficiency, and mobility for military applications. Under the agreement, Plasan will provide expertise in survivability and vehicle systems, while Belrise will contribute manufacturing capabilities and knowledge of the Indian market.

The partnership aligns with India's Make in India and Atmanirbhar Bharat policies, which encourage domestic production and technology development in the defense sector. The agreement includes provisions for localized production and technology transfer.

Beyond the Indian market, Belrise will be integrated into Plasan's global supply chain. This arrangement is expected to enable Plasan to produce its systems in India for international markets.

Mr. Swastid Badve, Chief of Staff at Belrise, stated the partnership would combine the company's manufacturing capabilities with Plasan's technology. Mr. Gilad Ariav, VP of Marketing and Business Development at Plasan, said the collaboration would serve both Indian defense needs and strengthen the company's global production network.

Belrise Industries operates 20 manufacturing facilities across India and reported revenues exceeding INR 8,000 crores in March 2025. The company produces chassis components and other automotive systems. Plasan Sasa provides armor and protection systems for military vehicles and has operations in multiple countries.
