Bastian Solutions opens first conveyor manufacturing plant in India

The site will initially rollout 6 conveyor models; three in its zero-pressure accumulation line and three in its live roller transport conveyor line.

Bastian Solutions has announced the official opening of its conveyor manufacturing plant, signifying the next expansion of its technology portfolio in India. This achievement marks a strategic leap for the company.

Hitoshi Matsuoka, President and CEO of Toyota Advanced Logistics North America, the parent company of Bastian Solutions, was in attendance at the grand opening.

Aaron Jones, President & CEO of Bastian Solutions, speaking on the announcement said "This facility embodies our dedication to innovation, quality and sustainable growth. With Bastian’s history dating back to 1952 in the United States, we have remained pioneers in the material handling industry. We are thrilled that the opening of this facility marks the extension of our legacy into India, while also supporting the country in its “Make In India” campaign.”

The India manufacturing site will initially rollout 6 conveyor models; three in its zero-pressure accumulation line and three in its live roller transport conveyor line. The conveyors originating from India will also be available in the Southeast Asian and Middle Eastern markets, in addition to India. Recognising the unique requirements of various industries, Bastian’s expanded conveyor technology portfolio now offers a comprehensive range of solutions, catering to sectors such as retail, e-commerce, manufacturing and more.
