Bajaj Auto is gearing up for a busy 12-18 months with half a dozen new launches spanning internal-combustion motorcycles, electric two- and three-wheelers, and global premium collaborations with KTM and Triumph.
Executive Director Rakesh Sharma, speaking at the company's Q2 FY26 analyst call, outlined a product blitz that includes three new Pulsars, an all-new ICE brand, a new Chetak EV, and sub-350 cc KTM-Triumph motorcycles—each targeting growth in distinct market bands.
Three New Pulsars in the Pipeline
"We've got a few introductions starting from December in the Pulsar range, and there will be some in March and then in May. So we've got at least three good model introductions in December, March, and May. This is within Pulsar," Sharma said.
The staggered launches will refresh Bajaj's sporty commuter and performance line-up through FY26. Sharma added that positive market sentiment and GST-linked affordability improvements "offer excellent opportunities to attract customers to our Pulsar portfolio," which is being "further strengthened with new variants."
All-New Motorcycle Brand in FY27
Bajaj is also preparing to launch an entirely new ICE brand—its first in years—to broaden its motorcycle base beyond Pulsar.
"That part I'm holding close to my chest, but it will be sooner than later. It's an absolutely new development. It will happen in the next fiscal, but earlier than later," Sharma said.
Industry watchers expect this new brand to cater to the growing upgraders space.
New Chetak EV Early 2026
Following Chetak's return to the No. 1 position on Vahan registrations in October, Bajaj is readying an all-new Chetak EV for launch by early 2026.
"We will aim to maintain the leadership position here on. The launch of an absolutely new model by early next year, combined with the growing Chetak network... should further strengthen our claims to leadership," Sharma said.
The brand's retail reach—390 exclusive outlets and 4,000+ sales points across 800 cities—is expected to power its next phase of EV expansion.
Sub-350 cc KTM & Triumph Range Underway
To adapt to India's new GST structure—effective September 2025, where bikes up to 350 cc attract 18 percent GST and those above 350 cc 40 percent—Bajaj and its partners KTM and Triumph are developing new sub-350 cc motorcycles.
"That work is going on at a feverish pace... I don't want just to give timelines, but I think you will all be surprised by how fast we can swing that through," Sharma said.
These new models will balance performance and pricing to stay competitive in India's fast-growing mid-capacity segment.
EV Three-Wheelers and E-Rickshaw Scale-Up
Parallelly, Bajaj is expanding its EV three-wheeler and E-Rickshaw portfolio.
"We have sold about 500 units of Riki, our E-Rick, in eight cities and are in the phase of observing acceptance. Early feedback from customers is very positive... We intend to scale E-Ricks in a few months from now," Sharma said.
Half-Dozen Launches, Multi-Segment Push
Sharma said the company intends to "aggressively grow the KTM and Triumph business to take advantage of the positive sentiment unleashed by the GST rate cuts," while continuing to strengthen its ICE and EV line-ups.
The result is a half-dozen-strong launch program over the next year and a half—three Pulsars, one new ICE brand, a new Chetak EV, and a sub-350 cc KTM-Triumph range—plus capacity additions in E-rickshaws and electric three-wheelers.
