Bajaj Auto total sales up 5% at 358,477 units in June

Bajaj Auto Ltd on Monday reported a 5% year-on-year growth in its total vehicle sales, including exports, at 3,58,477 units in June. The Pune-based automaker sold  3,40,981 vehicles in June 2023, according to a company statement.

Bajaj Auto total sales up 5% at 358,477 units in June

Bajaj Auto Ltd on Monday reported a 5% year-on-year growth in its total vehicle sales, including exports, at 3,58,477 units in June. The Pune-based automaker sold  3,40,981 vehicles in June 2023, according to a company statement.

Total domestic sales (including commercial vehicles) rose 8% at  2,16,451 units in the previous month, compared to 1,99,983 units sold in the same month last year.

Total exports during the month under review rose 1% at 142,026 units from 140,998 vehicles shipped out to overseas markets in June 2023, according to the statement.

The total two-wheeler volume (domestic+exports) in June 2024 stood at 303,646 units, an increase of 3% over the 293,649 units sold in the same month last year, Bajaj Auto said.

Domestic two-wheeler sales rose 7% to 177,207 units from 166,292 units in June 2023.

The two wheeler exports reported a marginal decline year-on-year at  1,26,439 vehicles as compared to  1,27,357 units in the month earlier, it said.

Total Commercial Vehicle (CV) sales (including exports) grew 16% to 54,831 units in the previous month from  47,332 CVs in June 2023, Bajaj Auto said.
