Record Revenue, Profit and Margins in Q1FY27

Bajaj Auto Limited posted a 37% year-on-year rise in standalone revenue from operations for the first quarter of Fiscal Year 2027, reaching ₹17,244 crore. According to the company, standalone net profit for the two- and three-wheeler manufacturer rose 42 percent year-on-year to ₹2,983 crore, up from ₹2,096 crore in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year. Operational earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) reached ₹3,596 crore, a 45 percent increase compared to ₹2,482 crore recorded in the first quarter of the prior year. Operating margins expanded to 20.9 percent.

Export Shipments Cross 7 Lakh Units for First Time in a Quarter

Total sales volume grew 29 percent year-on-year to 1,438,251 units, driven by international shipments. Export shipments rose 54 percent to 732,173 units, crossing the 700,000-unit threshold in a single quarter for the first time. Overseas commercial vehicle shipments recorded a 69 percent increase to 96,168 units. Domestic deliveries increased 11 percent overall to 706,078 units.

EVs, Commercial Vehicles and Premium Motorcycles Reshape Revenue Mix

Electric vehicle offerings accounted for approximately 30 percent of total domestic revenue during the quarter. In the commercial vehicle segment, overall revenue grew 25 percent year-on-year, supported by electric three-wheeler sales. Revenue its KTM and Triumph premium motorcycle portfolio grew 60 percent year-on-year in the domestic market.
