Bajaj Auto reported total sales of 461,257 units in May 2026, registering a 20 per cent increase compared to 384,621 units sold in May 2025, driven by growth across domestic and export markets.
Domestic sales rose 10 per cent year-on-year to 248,031 units from 225,733 units in May 2025, while exports increased 34 per cent to 213,226 units from 158,888 units. Export growth contributed significantly to the overall increase in volumes.
The company’s two-wheeler business recorded sales of 393,204 units during the month, up 18 per cent from 332,370 units in May 2025. Domestic two-wheeler sales increased 9 per cent to 209,528 units, while exports rose 30 per cent to 183,676 units.
Commercial vehicle sales grew 30 per cent year-on-year to 68,053 units compared to 52,251 units in May 2025. Domestic CV sales stood at 38,503 units, up 12 per cent, while exports rose 65 per cent to 29,550 units.
For the April–May FY2027 period, Bajaj Auto’s cumulative sales reached 975,049 units, marking a 30 per cent increase over 750,431 units recorded during April–May FY2026. Export volumes for the two months rose 57 per cent, while total commercial vehicle sales increased 42 per cent year-on-year.
