Bajaj Auto Limited reported total sales of 3,60,806 units in June 2025, marking a marginal 1% increase compared to 3,58,477 units sold in the same period last year. The Pune-based automotive manufacturer disclosed these figures in a regulatory filing to the BSE and NSE on July 1, 2025.
The company's performance showed contrasting trends between domestic and export markets. Domestic sales declined 13% to 1,88,460 units from 2,16,451 units in June 2024, while exports grew 21% to 1,72,346 units compared to 1,42,026 units in the previous year.
In the two-wheeler segment, which forms the bulk of Bajaj Auto's business, domestic sales fell 16% to 1,49,317 units from 1,77,207 units in June 2024. However, two-wheeler exports increased 18% to 1,49,167 units from 1,26,439 units, resulting in a 2% decline in the segment's total sales to 2,98,484 units from 3,03,646 units.
The commercial vehicle division performed better, with total sales rising 14% to 62,322 units from 54,831 units in June 2024. While domestic commercial vehicle sales remained flat at 39,143 units compared to 39,244 units last year, exports surged 49% to 23,179 units from 15,587 units.
For the first quarter of fiscal year 2026 (April-June 2025), Bajaj Auto's cumulative sales increased 1% to 11,11,237 units from 11,02,056 units in the corresponding period of 2024. The quarter-to-date figures showed domestic sales down 8% to 6,34,808 units, while exports grew 16% to 4,76,429 units.
Bajaj Auto, established in 1945, is one of India's leading automobile manufacturers, known for its motorcycles, scooters, and three-wheelers. The company trades on both the BSE (code: 532977) and NSE (code: BAJAJ-AUTO) and has been expanding its international presence across various markets in recent years.
