Bajaj Auto June Sales Rise 28% to 4.63 Lakh Units

Bajaj Auto Limited reported total sales of 4,63,202 units for June 2026, a 28% increase over 3,60,806 units in June 2025, according to a regulatory filing with the BSE and NSE. The growth was led by a sharp rise in exports across both two-wheelers and commercial vehicles, which outpaced domestic sales growth for the month.

Two-wheeler sales totalled 3,89,395 units in June, up 30% from 2,98,484 units a year earlier. Domestic two-wheeler sales rose 12% to 1,66,956 units, while exports climbed 49% to 2,22,439 units — exports now accounting for the larger share of monthly two-wheeler volumes.

Commercial vehicle sales grew 18% to 73,807 units, from 62,322 units in June 2025. Domestic CV sales increased 10% to 42,881 units, while CV exports rose 33% to 30,926 units.

Combining both segments, total domestic sales grew 11% to 2,09,837 units, while total exports rose 47% to 2,53,365 units, taking overall company sales to 4,63,202 units against 3,60,806 units in the year-ago month.

For the quarter, total sales stood at 14,38,251 units, up 29% from 11,11,237 units in the same period last year. Two-wheeler sales for the quarter grew 29% to 12,22,552 units, with exports up 52% to 6,36,005 units against 11% domestic growth to 5,86,547 units. Commercial vehicle sales for the quarter rose 33% to 2,15,699 units, driven by a 69% jump in CV exports to 96,168 units, while domestic CV sales grew 13% to 1,19,531 units. Total exports for the quarter rose 54% to 7,32,173 units, compared with 11% growth in total domestic sales to 7,06,078 units.

Both the month and the quarter showed growth across all segments, with two-wheelers remaining the larger contributor to overall volumes and commercial vehicles posting steady, if comparatively smaller, gains. Total company sales grew at a broadly similar pace in June (28%) and over the quarter (29%), indicating consistent momentum through Q1 FY27 rather than a single strong month skewing the quarterly figure.
