Bajaj Auto reported total sales of 535,764 units in August 2026, up 28% from 417,616 units in the same month last year, driven primarily by growth in exports.
Exports increased 51% year on year to 280,056 units during the month, while domestic sales rose 10% to 255,708 units. The company’s two-wheeler exports grew 53% to 241,850 units, compared with 157,778 units in August 2025.
Total two-wheeler sales rose 30% to 443,748 units, comprising 201,898 units in the domestic market and 241,850 units in exports.
Commercial vehicle sales rise 22%
Bajaj Auto’s commercial vehicle sales increased 22% to 92,016 units in August 2026. Domestic commercial vehicle sales rose 11% to 53,810 units, while exports grew 39% to 38,206 units.
The company’s year-to-date sales for April-August 2026 rose 29% to 2,448,692 units, from 1,894,853 units during the corresponding period last year.
During the five months, total exports increased 50% to 1,266,714 units, while domestic sales grew 13% to 1,181,978 units. Two-wheeler sales were up 29% to 2,055,019 units, while commercial vehicle sales increased 28% to 393,673 units.
