AutoMovers Group has announced a ₹500 crore investment plan for the next three years, beginning in Q1 FY 2026-27. The multi-brand automotive retail company said more than ₹200 crore has already been invested in capital expenditure, with the next phase focused on expanding its sales and service network and manufacturing capacity.

Of the planned ₹500 crore investment, ₹150 crore will be allocated towards CAPEX expansion, including new workshops and authorised service outlets. A further ₹150 crore will be used to increase commercial and passenger vehicle inventory, taking total stock capacity to more than 2,000 vehicles.

The remaining ₹200 crore will be split between working capital and expansion reserves, with ₹100 crore earmarked for these purposes and another ₹100 crore allocated to expanding the company's trailer manufacturing facility in Lucknow.

AutoMovers Group To Expand Uttar Pradesh Network

The expansion will initially focus on the Lucknow cluster, covering Mohan Road, Lucknow Road and Sultanpur Road. AutoMovers Group plans to subsequently expand into other Uttar Pradesh markets, including Kanpur, Varanasi, Gorakhpur and the Noida corridors.

The company is also expanding its insurance operations. It has started increasing its presence across Uttar Pradesh, with Rajasthan, New Delhi, Punjab and Bihar identified as the next markets. AutoMovers Group is targeting ₹200 crore in insurance business in FY 2027-28 and plans to increase this to ₹1,000 crore annually by 2030.

The planned increase in vehicle inventory is intended to support quicker deliveries, while the new infrastructure is expected to increase service capacity to more than 300 vehicles a day.

Lucknow Trailer Plant Capacity To Rise 2.5 Times

AutoMovers Group will allocate ₹100 crore towards expanding its trailer manufacturing facility in Lucknow. The expansion is expected to increase the facility's production capacity by 2.5 times. The company also plans to introduce new product lines in trailer manufacturing.

Managing Director Sanjeet Singh Talwar said the investment programme is intended to build the infrastructure required for faster deliveries, expanded service operations and a broader product offering, while also supporting expansion into new markets and strengthening manufacturing capabilities.

The investment will also support AutoMovers Group's passenger vehicle business through existing and new OEM partnerships. Over the next three to five years, the company plans to expand its retail, service and manufacturing network across Uttar Pradesh and other markets.
