Audi of America and Verizon Business have announced a collaboration to introduce 5G connectivity to Audi's U.S. lineup, set to commence with select models for the 2024 model year. This agreement represents Verizon's first venture with a global premium automaker to integrate 5G-enabled automobiles, marking a significant leap forward in automotive technology.
The integration of embedded 5G Ultra Wideband connectivity into Audi vehicles will facilitate advanced driving features, connected services, and rapid in-car Wi-Fi and infotainment.

Filip Brabec, Senior VP of Product Planning at Audi of America, underscored Audi's commitment to pushing the boundaries of connectivity, building on its legacy of introducing in-vehicle Wi-Fi and LTE connectivity.
