Audi launches the Q7 facelift at Rs 88.66 lakh
Audi India launches the refreshed Q7, With over 10,000 units sold, the luxury SUV is now available in two variants, Premium Plus and Technology.
Audi India has announced the launch of its new Audi Q7 facelift at Rs 88.66 lakh. Customers can reserve their vehicle through the Audi India website or the ‘myAudi connect’ app with an initial booking fee of Rs 2,00,00
The Audi Q7, locally assembled at the SAVWIPL plant in Aurangabad, is scheduled for its official launch in India on November 28, 2024. This latest version features a 3.0L V6 TFSI engine that delivers 340 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque, allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.6 seconds and reach a top speed of 250 km/h. The model is equipped with Audi’s quattro all-wheel-drive system for enhanced performance.
Balbir Singh Dhillon, Head of Audi India, noted that the Audi Q7 has been a standout model, appealing to a diverse range of customers. “With the new Audi Q7, we are offering enhanced features, a refreshed exterior, and innovative lighting options. The local assembly of this model in Aurangabad reflects our commitment to the Indian market, and we look forward to the upcoming launch on November 28, 2024,” he said.
The Audi Q7 will be available in five exterior color choices: Sakhir Gold, Waitomo Blue, Mythos Black, Samurai Grey, and Glacier White. Interior options include Cedar Brown and Saiga Beige.
This release reinforces Audi India’s lineup in the luxury SUV segment, combining local assembly with the brand’s hallmark performance and design.
The Audi Q7's performance is further enhanced by Audi’s quattro all-wheel-drive system, which provides superior traction and control across various driving conditions. Coupled with an 8-speed automatic transmission, the Q7’s drivetrain is engineered for smooth, responsive power delivery that balances performance with refined handling. The SUV also features advanced adaptive air suspension for a comfortable ride, while selectable drive modes allow drivers to customize the vehicle’s performance to suit different terrains and preferences.
In terms of design, the new Q7 sports a refreshed exterior, integrating Audi’s latest LED lighting technology with Matrix LED headlamps and dynamic turn signals, which enhance visibility and add a sophisticated look. The spacious interior, available in two color themes, Cedar Brown and Saiga Beige, features premium materials with fine detailing and ambient lighting options that create a luxurious cabin environment.
The Q7 also boasts a suite of technology upgrades, including a dual touchscreen setup for infotainment and climate control, Audi’s Virtual Cockpit for customizable digital driver displays, and a host of connectivity features via the ‘myAudi connect’ app, making it both a comfortable and high-tech choice in the luxury SUV segment.
The Audi Q7 faces competition from other premium SUVs in its class, including the BMW X5, Mercedes-Benz GLE, and Volvo XC90. Each of these rivals offers distinct strengths: the BMW X5 is known for its sporty handling and powerful engine lineup; the Mercedes-Benz GLE emphasises luxury and comfort with a plush, tech-savvy interior; and the Volvo XC90 focuses on safety and Scandinavian design with a minimalist yet elegant approach.
