Audi India Opens Bookings for New Q3 SUV

Audi India began accepting bookings for the all-new Q3 on September 1, 2026, marking the latest addition to its SUV lineup in the country. The initial booking amount has been set at INR 1,00,000.

The Q3 is powered by a 2.0-litre petrol engine and will come equipped with Audi's quattro all-wheel drive system — a technology the brand has offered across its lineup for decades and positions as a key differentiator in the segment.

The company has indicated the model will feature several segment-first technologies, though full specifications and variant details are expected to be revealed closer to the official launch date.

The Q3 occupies an important position in Audi's Q-series lineup, sitting between entry-level models and the brand's larger SUV offerings. It has historically been one of Audi's stronger-selling models in India, drawing buyers looking for a compact luxury SUV with all-wheel drive capability.

In the Indian market, it competes with the BMW X1, Mercedes-Benz GLA, and Volvo XC40, all of which have seen growing demand as consumer preference in the premium segment shifts increasingly toward SUVs.

The Indian luxury car market has expanded steadily in recent years, with SUVs accounting for a significant and growing share of sales across all premium brands. Manufacturers have responded by prioritising SUV launches and refreshes, and the new Q3 fits into that broader strategy for Audi India.

Audi is a subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group and sells vehicles across more than 100 markets worldwide. Its global production network covers 21 sites across 12 countries and employs over 88,000 people. The Audi Group also owns Lamborghini, Bentley Motors, and Ducati. In 2026, the brand is entering Formula 1 as a factory team, its first appearance in the series in a works capacity.

In India, Audi's current portfolio spans sedans, SUVs, and electric vehicles. The company has been expanding its electric offerings in the country as part of a broader shift toward electrification globally, though the new Q3 is being launched with a conventional petrol powertrain. Customers can place orders through the Audi India website (www.audi.in), the myAudi Connect application, or at any Audi India dealership across the country.
