Audi Commences Local Assembly of New Q3 Ahead of October 16 Launch
Audi rolls out updated Q3 from SAVWIPL Maharashtra facility, with official market introduction slated for October 16.

Audi India announced on Friday that it has commenced local assembly of the new Q3 at the Škoda Auto Volkswagen India Private Limited (SAVWIPL) plant in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra, ahead of the SUV's official domestic market launch on October 16, 2026.
Audi said local assembly at the Maharashtra facility avoids higher customs duties associated with completely built-up (CBU) imports, keeping the SUV's price competitive against rivals such as the BMW X1 and Mercedes-Benz GLA.
Piyush Arora, Managing Director and CEO of Škoda Auto Volkswagen India, said:
"The start of production of the All-New Audi Q3 is an important milestone for our Group in India. It reflects the strong capabilities of our Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar facility and our commitment to supporting the growth of our brands in the country."
