ATMA Chairman Joins Prime Minister's Delegation to Malaysia

Arun Mammen, Chairman of the Automotive Tyre Manufacturers Association, accompanied the Prime Minister's official delegation during a recent visit to Malaysia aimed at strengthening bilateral relations and economic partnerships.
The visit facilitated discussions between Indian and Malaysian industry representatives across multiple sectors. Malaysian companies indicated interest in potential collaborations with Indian firms in recycling and sustainability initiatives, technical textiles, defence components, and advanced manufacturing equipment.
Mammen outlined the Indian tyre industry's current growth patterns during the interactions, citing increased domestic demand, export opportunities, and ongoing investments in innovation and sustainability practices. He also referenced the sector's focus on circular economy principles and global market competitiveness.
Malaysian industry leaders showed interest in the discussions, suggesting potential for future business partnerships and expanded industry cooperation between the two countries.
