Ather Energy has partnered with ThunderPlus to expand access to EV charging infrastructure across India. The collaboration makes all 140 ThunderPlus charging hubs available to Ather customers, improving accessibility for electric two-wheelers across 15 states and 40 cities. The move aims to address range anxiety and support the growth of India's EV ecosystem.
As part of this initiative, Ather Energy riders will now have seamless access to ThunderPlus' fast-charging network, strengthening interoperability between the two companies’ charging systems.
“The EV revolution will be won by collaboration, not competition. Our partnership with Ather Energy opens up 140+ ThunderPlus charging hubs overnight to their riders, reducing charging anxiety and increasing consumer confidence,” said Rajeev YSR, CEO, ThunderPlus. “We are also open to partnering with other OEMs to ensure that wherever EV users go, a ThunderPlus charger is never far away.”
The alliance aligns with both companies' commitment to building a more accessible and interconnected charging network for electric vehicles.
ThunderPlus operates over 2,000 charge points across 140 hubs nationwide, offering high-speed chargers ranging from 30 kW to 240 kW. The company partners with mobility providers such as FlixBus, Turno, Ohm, and ETO to advance sustainable transportation solutions.
