ASK Automotive Limited has appointed Krishan Swaroop Malik as President – Operations of its Aluminium Lightweighting Precision Solutions (ALPS) division, with the appointment taking effect on October 12, 2026. Along with this role, Malik has also been designated as Senior Management Personnel (SMP) of the company, a classification that carries specific disclosure obligations under Indian securities regulations.

The Board of Directors approved the appointment on the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee. The company disclosed the development to both the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and the National Stock Exchange (NSE) on the same date, in compliance with Regulation 30 read with Schedule III of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015. Malik will serve on a full-time basis, under employment terms consistent with the company's standard policy.

Malik brings approximately 35 years of experience in the automobile and allied industries to the role. The most significant portion of his career was spent at Honda Group, where he worked for over 19 years. He has also held senior positions at Escorts Limited, Delphi, Lumax-GHSP, Mahindra Two Wheelers, and Revent Engineering, giving him exposure across a broad range of automotive segments and organisational structures.

His functional expertise spans operations management, manufacturing, business development, technology integration, strategic planning, and profitability improvement — areas that are directly relevant to running a precision solutions division within a competitive automotive supply chain environment.

On the academic side, Malik holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Gogte Institute of Technology, Belgaum, and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Business Administration with a specialisation in Marketing from YMCA, New Delhi.

The ALPS division, which focuses on aluminium lightweighting precision solutions, operates in a segment that has gained increasing relevance in the automotive industry. As vehicle manufacturers face growing pressure to reduce weight and improve fuel efficiency — driven by tightening emission norms and the shift toward electric vehicles — demand for lightweight aluminium components has grown steadily across both conventional and electric vehicle platforms.

ASK Automotive, formerly incorporated as ASK Automotive Private Limited, is listed on both BSE under scrip code 544022 and on the NSE under the symbol ASKAUTOLTD, with ISIN number INE491J01022. The company's corporate office is located in Manesar, Haryana, and its registered office is in New Delhi. The disclosure was signed by Rajani Sharma, Company Secretary and Compliance Officer, in accordance with the company's regulatory obligations.
