Ashok Leyland's vehicles whole sales jump by 5% in June 2023 (YoY)

Ashok Leyland's vehicles whole sales jump by 5% in June 2023 (YoY)

Ashok Leyland, the flagship of the Hinduja Group and a manufacturer of commercial vehicles announced on Monday that total vehicle sales in June increased by 5% to 15,221 units.

Total vehicle sales for the company during the same time period a year ago were 14,531 units. The company reported in a statement that total domestic sales increased by 7% to 14,363 units from 13,469 units a year earlier.

Domestic sales of medium and heavy commercial vehicles increased by 10% in June to 9,274 units from 8,399 units in the prior year. The company said that sales of light commercial vehicles on the domestic market went from 5,070 units in June 2022 to 5,089 units in September 2022.
