Automotive Manufacturers Private Limited (AMPL), today inaugurated a brand-new 3S facility in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, marking the company's second facility in the city and fifth touch point in the state of Uttar Pradesh.

AMPL is the largest Ashok Leyland dealer and has a vast network of over 100 service locations. These touch points are spread across five states which include Uttar Pradesh, Telangana, Maharashtra, Karnataka, and Andhra Pradesh.

The decision to set up this outlet is influenced by the rising demand of various vehicle segments in the region due to the proximity of the upcoming key industrial zone near Rajatalab and Mirzamurad area located on the outskirts of Varanasi city.

This facility will address the need for an Ashok Leyland 3S facility for customer service on a 480 km long stretch between Kanpur in UP and Aurangabad in Bihar.

The outlet will help minimise vehicle downtime with enhanced productivity and profitability through prompt service for tipper trucks, passenger buses, haulage trucks, fuel tanks and ICV goods vehicles.

Additionally, it acts as a crucial stop for vehicles traversing from important states like Delhi and Haryana towards all West Bengal and all North Eastern States, by providing maintenance services, 24x7 breakdown assistance, and Ad Blue availability. “Koi Manzil Door Nahin” is a primary motto of the facility, which aims to foster customer satisfaction and instil confidence.

Strategically located at National Highway (NH) 19, this modern facility serves as vital junction connecting all Northern and Eastern states. Spread across 60,000 sq. ft. the state-of-the-art facility features 10 vehicle servicing bays equipped with advance tools that are handled and operated by a team of highly trained mechanics. The 3S dealership has 24x7 breakdown support and a comfortable driver lounge with night halt facility.

Commenting on the dealership launch, Sanjeev Kumar, President-MHCV, Ashok Leyland, said, “Uttar Pradesh is an important market for us. We have created a strong foothold in the region, and this new dealership will further bolster our presence in this geography. Our long-term partner Automotive Manufacturers Pvt Ltd, with this new outlet will ensure we serve our customers in this region better."

Speaking on the occasion, Rajiv Sanghvi, Executive Director, Automotive Manufacturers Private Limited, said “We are excited to further strengthen our network with the inauguration of our second 3S facility in Varanasi. This facility is a testament to our endeavour to provide our customers with best in class service and ownership experience to maximise their vehicle productivity and increase profitability.”
