Ashok Leyland's domestic YoY wholesales remain flat in June 2024

The M&HCV segment grew by 2 % to 9052 units during June  2024, as against 9274 units in June 2023.

Chennai-based Ashok Leyland reported on Monday that its total domestic wholesales for its commercial vehicles in June  2024 stood at 14,261 units, an increase of 1% in comparison to 14,363 units during the corresponding month of the previous year. 

The M&HCV segment grew by 2 % to 9052 units during June  2024, as against 9274 units in June 2023. Furthermore, within the M&HCV segment, trucks grew by 7% to 7417 units during June  2024, when compared to 7980 units recorded in June  2023.  Likewise, in the buses segment, the jump seems massive, at  26% to 1635 units in June 2024, compared to the 1294 units in June last year.

Secondly, in the LCV category, the company witnessed growth of 2 % to 5209 units in June 2024 as against 5089  units during the comparable period.
