Ashok Leyland reports 5% YoY drop in its domestic wholesales in November 2023

In the LCV category, the company witnessed growth of 7% to 5,294 units in November 2023 as against 4,969 units during the comparable period.

The manufacturer of commercial vehicles, Ashok Leyland, announced on Friday that total domestic wholesales for its commercial vehicles in November 2023 stood at 13,031 units, a drop of 5% in comparison to 13,645 units during the corresponding month of the previous year.

The M&HCV segment slid by 11% to 7737 units during November 2023, as against 8685 units in November 2022. Furthermore, within the M&HCV segment, trucks fell by 13% to 6755 units during November 2023, when compared against the 7727 units recorded in November 2022. Likewise, in the buses segment, the company witnessed a 3% surge to to 982 units in November 2023, compared to 958 units in November last year.

Secondly, in the LCV category, the company witnessed growth of 7 % to 5294 units in November 2023 as against 4969 units during the comparable period.
