Ashok Leyland Reports 32% Growth in Domestic Sales for November 2025

Commercial vehicle manufacturer posts strong monthly performance with 16,491 units sold in domestic market.

Ashok Leyland Reports 32% Growth in Domestic Sales for November 2025

Ashok Leyland has announced its sales figures for November 2025, reporting significant growth across its domestic and export operations. The company sold 16,491 vehicles in the domestic market during the month, marking a 32% increase compared to 12,473 units sold in November 2024.

The domestic performance was driven by robust demand across all segments. Medium and Heavy Commercial Vehicle (M&HCV) sales reached 10,238 units, up 29% from 7,913 units in the same month last year. Within this category, M&HCV trucks grew 30% to 8,576 units, while M&HCV buses increased 27% to 1,662 units.

Light Commercial Vehicles (LCV) showed particularly strong growth, with sales of 6,253 units representing a 37% year-on-year increase from 4,560 units in November 2024.

On a cumulative basis for the financial year, Ashok Leyland's domestic sales stood at 1,18,364 units through November 2025, reflecting a 7% growth over the 1,10,413 units sold in the corresponding period of the previous year.

When including exports, the company's total vehicle sales for November 2025 reached 18,272 units, a 29% increase from 14,137 units in November 2024. Cumulative sales including exports totaled 1,29,446 units, up 9% from 1,18,964 units in the previous year.

The export segment showed notable strength in the M&HCV bus category, which recorded 23% cumulative growth, reaching 21,131 units compared to 17,235 units in the previous year.
