Ashok Leyland Partners Shriram Automall For Used CV Business

The partnership will combine Ashok Leyland’s commercial vehicle operations with Shriram Automall’s auction and remarketing network to target India’s pre-owned CV market.

Ashok Leyland has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Shriram Automall India Limited (SAMIL) to establish a certified pre-owned commercial vehicle ecosystem in India. The partnership will focus on expanding access to used commercial vehicles through SAMIL’s auction and remarketing network.

The MoU was signed by Viplav Shah, Head – LCV, Ashok Leyland, and Sameer Malhotra, Director and CEO, SAMIL. Under the agreement, the two companies will work together to facilitate the buying and selling of pre-owned commercial vehicles across the country.

Partnership to Offer Exchange, Disposal and Inspection Services

The partnership will offer services including vehicle exchange, disposal, hybrid and special vehicle inspection. It is also expected to help Ashok Leyland expand its reach among fleet operators and single-truck owners in India.
