Ashok Leyland, a leading commercial vehicle manufacturer under the Hinduja Group, inaugurated its 22nd Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) dealership in Uttar Pradesh today. Located at Chunar Road, Jamui Jamuhar, Mirzapur, the new RDS AUTOSALES facility offers sales, service, and spares for the company’s LCV products.
Equipped with advanced tools and infrastructure, the dealership will cater to customer needs across segments, including the SAATHI, DOST, BADA DOST, PARTNER, and MiTR ranges. Mr. Viplav Shah, Head – LCV Business, emphasized the strategic importance of Uttar Pradesh as a key market, noting the growing demand for Ashok Leyland’s robust products and their appeal due to high mileage, superior performance, and payload capabilities.
The recently launched SAATHI SCV features a next-generation 45 HP engine, offering 110 Nm of torque, the largest loading area in its segment, and a payload capacity of 1,120 kg.
The BADA DOST lineup, built on a new LCV platform, includes variants such as i2, i3+, i4, and i5, powered by an 80 HP BS6 engine. This range boasts features like high payload capacities, extended load body lengths, and a low turning radius for versatility in inter-city and intra-city applications. The DOST range, available in XL and DOST+ XL models, caters to diverse segment requirements.
Additional products include the PARTNER load carrier for the 4-ton segment, available with multiple load body configurations, and the MiTR bus, designed for both standard and school use. The MiTR complies with safety norms while ensuring operational efficiency.
Ashok Leyland has established a nationwide network of over 1,700 exclusive outlets, ensuring service coverage every 75 kilometers along major highways.
