Based in Singapore, Awasthi will focus on customer engagement, OEM and channel partnerships, and go-to-market alignment across APJ markets. His role spans cloud, enterprise, AI, commercial and consumer business segments.

The appointment comes as AMD continues to expand its presence across APJ, one of its key growth regions amid increasing demand for AI and accelerated computing solutions.

AMD said the appointment reflects its focus on strengthening customer and ecosystem partnerships across the APJ region as it scales operations to address growing market demand.
