Allcargo Supply Chain accelerates growth with expansion and diversification plans

Allcargo Supply Chain (ASPL), the contract logistics business arm of Allcargo Group, is poised for significant growth as it expands its operations to meet the evolving needs of the market. Currently operating in 6 million sqft of space, ASPL aims to add an additional 3 million sqft within the next 2-3 years as part of its expansion plan. The initial phase of this expansion plans will begin from the north and south regions.

ASPL's growth trajectory aligns with the surging demand for a premium logistics solution in key sectors, including auto engineering, ecommerce, chemical, and retail. The company's diversification plan encompasses an expansion of transportation services, catering to both Full Truck Load (FTL) and city distribution, showcasing its commitment to meeting the evolving needs of its diverse customers.

Commenting on the expansion plans Sushil Rathi, Director, Allcargo Supply Chain said, “Our expansion plan is not just about increasing square footage; it's about strengthening our capabilities to better serve our clients. With modern infrastructure and advanced Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), our warehouses will optimise the process of moving and storing goods while adhering to all required compliances”

ASPL's nationwide expansion plan includes the establishment of standardised warehouses equipped with cutting-edge facilities. These warehouses will cater to all sectors, with ASPL's client distribution comprising 25% from the chemical sector, 30% from ecommerce, 25% from auto engineering, and 15% from other verticals.

ASPL has more than 27 multi-user chemical warehouses, serving more than 70 companies. Recently the company has set up a state-of-the-art Grade A chemical warehousing facility at its mega multi-user chemical warehousing complex at Uran in Navi Mumbai for its MNC clients.
