Škoda Auto India has reported a 110% year-on-year increase in sales for the third quarter of 2025, selling 17,161 vehicles between July and September compared to the same period in 2024.

The company sold 6,636 units in September 2025 alone, representing a 101% year-on-year increase for the month. The Kylaq model drove much of this growth, with contributions from the Kushaq, Slavia, and Kodiaq models.

Year-to-Date Performance

Between January and September 2025, Škoda Auto India sold 53,355 units. The Kylaq, the brand's first sub-4-meter SUV, has sold 34,500 units since its launch.

Ashish Gupta, Brand Director at Škoda Auto India, attributed the results to customer response to the product portfolio and mentioned that the festive season and simplified GST framework have supported industry-wide growth. The company has expanded its network to over 315 customer touchpoints across 177 cities in India.

Product and Market Initiatives

To mark 25 years of operations in India, Škoda Auto India introduced limited editions of the Kushaq, Slavia, and Kylaq models.

The company has launched several customer engagement initiatives, including the "Škoda Fan Fest" and the "Fans, Not Owners" campaign, which includes the "I love my Doda" initiative. City-specific off-road drives of the Kodiaq have been organized to demonstrate the vehicle's 4x4 capabilities.

The Kodiaq became the first petrol-powered SUV to reach Everest Base Camp, receiving recognition in the India Book of Records and the Asia Book of Records.

Customer Engagement

Škoda Auto India has conducted "Fans of Škoda" drives in locations including Garli, Hampi, New Delhi, Mumbai, and Leh. Exchange Carnivals have been held in Mumbai, Pune, New Delhi, Bengaluru, Chennai, and Hyderabad.

The company has introduced region-specific messaging in local languages and recently launched the Kodiaq Lounge, a new variant in its luxury SUV lineup.

Škoda Auto India has been operating in the country since 2001. The company currently offers four models: Kylaq, Slavia, Kushaq, and Kodiaq. Škoda Auto is part of the Volkswagen Group.
