ZF to display demo car with mSTARS tech at FISITA World Congress in Chennai
Company to highlight its technology portfolio and strategy for India market at FISITA World Automotive Congress 2018 to be held from October 2-5 at Chennai Trade Centre.
ZF, a leader in driveline and chassis technology as well as active and passive safety technology, is to showcase its latest technologies and products from its diversified portfolio at the FISITA World Automotive Congress, which is taking place for the first time in India in Chennai from October 2-5, 2018.
In accordance with the event’s theme of ‘Disruptive Technologies for Affordable and Sustainable Mobility’, ZF will focus on technological innovations in these areas and in line with its claim – ‘see. think. act.’ The company will be showcasing a prototype car equipped with the latest mSTARS technology – a one-of-a-kind axle concept that offers multifaceted applications in the most diverse vehicle segments. Visitors can experience the technology live in the drive area.
Furthermore, ZF will be exhibiting its latest technologies in the areas of autonomous driving and advanced safety such as the ZF ProAI, seatbelts, airbags for curtain knee airbags and side applications as well as the company’s Automatic Manual Transmission, EVD2, clutch cover XTend, clutch by wire, ADAS (Autonomous Driving and Assisted driving system) technology can be experienced through VR glasses at ZF’s booth No. 4020 at the Chennai Trade Centre.
Strong India team
In India, ZF has a strong local mechanical engineering team that supports product development and application engineering for both the automotive and non-automotive customers. Additionally, ZF recently set up a technology centre in Hyderabad which focuses on developing innovative electronics and software solutions.
At FISITA, ZF will also highlight its ongoing expansion plans in India.
